WHO WE ARE
ABOUT OUR SOCIETY
The Warwick Singapore Society (Warwick SingSoc) is an official organisation and a subsidiary of the University of Warwick Students’ Union. With an annual membership of about 200 students, Warwick SingSoc aims to elevate the experience of studying abroad by providing a “home-away-from-home” for our Singaporean members. In addition, Warwick SingSoc also acts as a platform to share various aspects of our unique Singaporean culture and lifestyle with students of other nationalities in the University. Ultimately, we strive to foster an inclusive and supportive community for our members, as well as to provide opportunities to help them excel in their endeavours.
A SUPPORTIVE AND WELL-CONNECTED COMMUNITY
Our society organises an array of social activities that caters to everyone in SingSoc throughout our Academic Year (AY). After receiving an offer from the University, incoming students are given various opportunities to meet and interact with each other, as well as seniors in our society before departing for the UK. At the beginning of the AY, all students will be required to officially register with the Students’ Union in order to join any society, after which you will be able to participate in all the events organised by the society. As such, freshmen are highly encouraged to register to be a member of SingSoc. Once you register, you will be able to participate in all our events, network with your peers and seniors, and enjoy other membership benefits!

In a bid to support our members beyond their pursuit of academic excellence, our society also engages in frequent collaborations with other societies in the University and our corporate partners, providing a medium for cultural exchange and networking opportunities for internship and job applications. Additionally, to keep members abreast of potential opportunities both locally and at home, members are given updates whenever possible on upcoming engagement sessions and available job offers across key industries in Singapore and the UK.

Outside of the University, Warwick SingSoc occasionally collaborates with other Singapore Societies across the UK to organise external events. While providing invaluable opportunities for skills transfer and expansion of our members’ social circle beyond the University, it also aids in advancing towards a more united Singapore-UK community.
KEEPING IN TOUCH
We always believe in developing, maintaining and harnessing a strong network of Singaporeans in our society, including both our active members and our alumni. As such, it is our hope that all our members will continue to sustain and contribute to this network after graduation in order to provide a stronger support base for all batches of SingSoc.
