Warwick Singapore Society returned this year with the highly anticipated Ski Trip to La Plagne, a ski resort located in the picturesque French Alps. This year, a total of 47 people from the 12th to 19th of December for a fun-filled week of skiing and snowboarding! We trust that our members had lots of fun once again during the trip, and that it was an experience worth remembering! 

 

 

Khaw Xuan Cheng, 3rd Year: 

If there's one thing I look forward to in the Warwick Singsoc calendar, it's definitely Ski Trip! This is my third year and third ski trip, and I can say that this has been the best so far, in terms of enjoyment & quality of accommodation. While the slopes weren't perfect, and the lack of natural snowfall made it icy at places, I had a really awesome week. Perhaps it was the company, or perhaps the unlimited nutritious food, or the great atmosphere and just being in the mountains - I love everything about Ski Trip. To juniors who haven't gone before, I think it's much more than just skiing/snowboarding (which are cool in their own right). Ski Trip is about bonding with and across the batches, and I think the presence of some "year 5s" this year is testament to that! I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to deepen existing and create new friendships, and hope to see you all on the mountains next year!
